Car + Household (Full container Load-FCL 20'ft or 40' ft)

1.Cargo insurance is a worthwhile addition to give you peace of mind during your move. Protect your shipment in case if anything happens during transit. Cargo insurance is 1.5% of the cargo value for total loss coverage and 2% for full coverage including dents and scratches. If you choose not to purchase cargo insurance, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the cargo.

2. The quotation given is only valid for the mentioned origin and destination, no changes or adjustments are to be made by the customer at time of booking.

3. Please note that the height of the trailer is approximately 1.30 meters above the ground level and if you wish to load the container yourself, loading arrangements will not be Cargopedia's responsibility. The damages caused to the container while loading or while shipping is the responsibility of the Shipper.

4. Shipper (you) must provide the exact cargo weight. Shipping lines require Verified Gross Mass (VGM) information, otherwise scaling charges would be applicable to obtain the VGM information
5.If you are unable to provide the weight, we must weight the empty container, and the full container. the difference will be your cargo weight. there would be a charge of USD150 for this service.

6.1 hour free for loading 1x20 or 1x40, USD75 per hour thereafter.

8.Transit time subject to change due to shipping lineís routes.

9.The Total quotation considered in this offer is based on cargo details as above. The final price may change according to changes in weight / dimensions / Incoterms at the time of shipping.

10.Customs Clearance, Formalities, Duties and Taxes, Destination Terminal Handling Charges and all applicable destination charges will be on the account of consignee.

11.When the cargo arrives at destination, the Consignee will be fully responsible for Customs Clearance. Cargopediaís responsibility ends at destination port and or airport.

12.Rate is not applicable for Hazardous cargo unless specified otherwise.

13.Rates are valid from the dated when provided and will be invalid by the end of the month.

14.It is the customer responsibility to make sure the vehicle if free from liens and encumbrances. This can be confirmed by obtaining the release letter from Ministry of Transportation.

15.We recommend purchasing a buyerís package or used vehicle information package (UVIP) from the Ministry of Transportation. For more information, please click on the link below. https://www.ontario.ca/page/used-vehicle-information-package

16.Please check with destination customs that vehicleís Make, Model and year have no import restriction in final destination.

17.Please make sure the fuel tank would be close to empty when delivering the vehicle.

18. Customer needs to state what type of B/L will be needed at destination (original or Express B/L), any change after sailing date will be subject to extra charges.

19. Full Container: If pick-up address is downtown (all cities in Canada), it is shipper responsibility to check if it is possible to deliver the container at the address provided. Customer should get a permit if needed.
If delivery of full container is not allowed in delivery area, cargo must be loaded in smaller trucks.
Here are the extra charges:

- Offloading from container to our warehouse
- Loading to trucks
- Warehouse in an out charge
- Etc

20. Consignee will be responsible if the driver receives any parking or traffics ticket.

21. Once payment has been made, you have pre-approved to the rates and as well as the Terms and Conditions.  It is the Customerís responsibility to carefully read the Terms and Conditions and ask if thereís any unclarity to the Terms and Conditions.
